The server is currently open

Why can the server be closed?

For now the server is almost always closed, because no version of the game is available yet.

Later on, once the alpha version is out, a closed server will usually mean one of two things:

• We are rolling out an important update.
• Technical problems. Either something is wrong with the server's hosting, in which case all we can do is wait, or the server shut down because of an error, in which case it should come back very soon.
